High Season – Three Departures
- June 1st – September 15th
Please keep in mind that the evening departures from Þórsmörk are the only departures that go to Skógar.

Passengers
Pick-up starts 15 mins before departure
Please be ready in time for your pick-up at your meeting point. We only stop if we see passengers.
If you miss the bus
If passengers miss their pick-up, they can take the next departure, but it´s important to call: +354 867 3535 to change the ticket.

Luggage
Luggage transport
Bags must be dropped off at our office (Ormsvellir 23, 860 Hvolsvöllur) by 8:30 am on the day of your departure.
Road conditions are time-dependent
Please be aware that arrival times at hut locations can vary from the stated time depending on road conditions. The transport vehicle must cross snowfields, rivers, and rough tracks. Therefore, your bag may arrive at a later time than scheduled.
Use waterproof luggage
We highly recommend using waterproof luggage bags such as duffel bags or backpacks as your equipment can otherwise get wet from rain and poor weather conditions. Keep sleeping bags and clothes in a waterproof bag inside your luggage bag for added security.
Tags on luggage
You must mark all luggage with the traveler’s name and dates for each hut in advance since we cannot bring the luggage without knowing the name of the owner.
Don't bring suitcases
Please do not use suitcases, plastic bags, or cardboard boxes for packing your luggage.
Undelivered luggage
Luggage that is not delivered by the customer on or before the designated time to the drop-off location, will not be transported.
Damaged luggage
Damage to any luggage shall be limited to the actual price paid by the customer as confirmed by satisfactory written or printed evidence.
